An “incredible” pair of handmade diamond earrings are just one of the items up for grabs over the next month in two fundraising efforts for a West Midlands healthcare Trust’s Cancer Services.
The Living With and Beyond Cancer team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust will be raising the money for Your Trust Charity’s Cancer Services Fund through a virtual raffle and series of eBay auctions.
The service has a positive impact on the lives of patients, especially during these challenging times.
Beginning on Friday 27 November and running through to Monday 7 December, the service’s Christmas 2020 online fundraiser will auction some amazing items, from luxury goods, to food hampers, a weekend break for four and even your own personal session with a tribute band.
Meanwhile, a beautiful pair of handmade yellow and white gold, diamond and emerald earrings will be raffled off for the two charities. Kindly donated by Jewellery Quarter-based A&A Jewellery in Birmingham, the earrings are worth a staggering £765 and the winner will also receive a Certificate of Valuation for insurance purposes.
For every £5 donated individuals will be allocated a strip of five tickets. The draw will be filmed and the winning ticket will be drawn independently on Friday 18 December.
Jenny Donovan, Cancer Services Manager for the Living With and Beyond Cancer team at the Trust, said: “We offer our heartfelt thanks to A&A Jewellery for donating this incredible prize. The owner has personal experience of the impact of cancer. The Living With and Beyond Cancer Team is a small team of five, but we’ve all had personal experience of cancer, not just through work but through our friends and family too. Ultimately it will affect us all at some point in our lives, either directly or indirectly.”
