The Trust offers private laser treatment for certain conditions at the Birmingham Regional Skin Laser Centre, based at the Birmingham Skin Centre at City Hospital, Birmingham, for patients with skin disorders where laser therapy is required, including:
- hair removal
- tattoo removal
- vascular birthmarks (such as port-wine stains, telangiectasia)
- pigmented birthmarks (discoloured areas of skin)
- scar treatment
- skin tumours
Prices are very competitive with the private sector, meaning patients can be reassured that they are being treated by an NHS consultant or nursing team in a clean, safe environment that is CQC registered.
