Christmas Special at Midland Met

2nd Dec 2016

It’s the £350 million super hospital that is about to change Birmingham’s skyline forever – and the public are being invited to capture the mammoth development in a seasonal Christmas event.

The viewing platform at the Midland Met Hospital site will be open in a ticket-only event, in Cranford Street, Smethwick on December 10, between 11am and 3pm.

Keen photographers will be able to capture the building on film for a competition which is being run by Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, with the best snaps being displayed in an exhibition at the new building when it opens in 2018.

Places are limited and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Email Vy Tran at v.tran@nhs.net with a contact telephone number to book a place.

Photographs can be entered in the competition electronically through the Trust’s website www.swbh.nhs.uk/capturingthecommunity. Entry forms submitted must be complete and carry with them a full description of the scene depicted in the image submitted. Terms and conditions can be found at this address and must be accepted when submitting.
