Tweeters will have the chance to heal their heartache this Valentine’s Day by receiving healthy heart advice.
Dr Derek Connolly a cardiologist at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust is to take questions on all issues around a healthy heart in a twitter chat on Valentine’s Day.
Dr Connolly said: “You can make a big difference in how long you live by staying healthy.
“Your heart will appreciate, very much, you living as healthily as possible.”
Heart disease is one of Europe’s biggest killers, however if tackled early enough people can make fantastic recoveries, many returning to lead a normal life.
This will be one of many Twitter chats that Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust will be producing throughout 2013, with the aim to give people the chance to ask their questions directly to clinicians.
The event will be held at 2pm on 14 February and people are encouraged to leave questions using hashtag #SWBHheart.
