Our National Health Service (NHS) is celebrating its 71st birthday next month, and Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is joining other parts of the health service in inviting locals to raise a cup of their favourite brew in celebration.
Following on from the success of last year’s ‘Big7tea’ event which celebrated a landmark 70 years of the NHS, on Friday 5 July NHS Big Tea is back.
This time the NHS wants people to bring the party to friends and family. Raising funds – and cups – to support local healthcare and raise funds for charity. For the Sandwell and West Birmingham region this would be for Your Trust Charity.
Your Trust Charity cannot do the work they do without the help of the public. The money raised will go to help provide patients with the best possible care and treatment; improving the experience for each and every person using the Trust’s services.
Those interested in taking part in NHS Big Tea and hosting a tea party in support of Your Trust Charity are invited to complete the registration form to let the charity know they are taking part. Once registered, hosts can download additional materials to make their tea party a success. Subsequent money raised, or separate donations, can be confirmed on the charity’s donation page.
