Live A&E Wait Times

For those patients who don’t require urgent medical attention, remember you can seek advice from the NHS 111 helpline, your pharmacist or your doctor.

We aim to triage (be seen by a clinician to assess the severity of their condition) all patients within 15 minutes of arrival in the department. The waiting times displayed below relates to the longest length of time a patient will wait for treatment or admission.
